Apollonia head honcho and leader of the Parisian house music scene, Dan Ghenacia has been involved in dance music for over two decades. Known for his deep knowledge of house music and ability to recognize raw talent, Ghenacia initiated two major labels over the last two decades. First was Freak N’Chic, featuring newly discovered, breaking artists such as Jamie Jones, Dyed Soundorom, Shonky, and Djebali. His most recent self-titled label, launched in 2012 alongside Dyed Soundorom and Shonky, “Apollonia” features artists like Point G, The Martinez Brothers, IO Mullen, The Mole, as well as full debut album “Lotus S7ven” from Chris Carrier and Hector Moralez. A true influencer to the scene across the globe, Ghenacia graces us with his individualized, techno-meets-deep-house sound November 9th.
Heating things up real quick in the Club is Paris’s Brawther. The man behind record label and production partnership Dungeon Meat with Tristan da Cunha, returns to Flash. With productions that have only been selectively released on esteemed labels like Cabinet, Balance, secretsundaze and My Love Is Underground, we patiently await the eclectic rare tracks Brawther is bound to drop through his set on this special Saturday night.
DAN GHENACIA:
Dan Ghenacia is the undisputed kingpin of the Paris underground scene and one of France’s hottest DJ exports, having founded and ran for seven years Freak N’Chic and now one of the three creative minds behind new label and b2b2b DJ outfit Apollonia.
Dan’s love affair with music ignited whilst spending a year in California in his early 20’s, soaking up West Coast house and psychedelia. On his return to Paris, Dan channelled this passion into a record selling business opening his own store Traffic Records, but as a true fan of the music he didn’t just want to peddle vinyl – he wanted to play it. Quickly gaining notoriety on the Paris scene with the infamous afterparties at Batofar, it was here he honed his distinctive techno-meets-deep-house sound, at the same time inspiring a new generation of DJs and first sharing the decks with later to become lifelong friends, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky.

BRAWTHER:
Born in Paris, now living in Leeds and raised on house – that’s just about all Brawther wants to tell you. You’ll have to glean anything else you need to know from his music.
So far his productions have only been selectively released on esteemed labels like Cabinet, Balance, secretsundaze and My Love Is Underground. It varies from pad-laced daydreams to tough edged 4/4 beats, always displaying such true school ideals.
Brawther is also the man behind record label and production partnership Dungeon Meat, a like-minded collaboration with Tristan da Cunha. Very much prising quality over quantity, Brawther knows just when to release his records into the wider world. When he does, it seems the world takes note.
