Patrick Dumisani Mahlangu, professionally known as Caiiro, is a highly successful South African DJ and producer in the global house music scene. With a deep interest in Egyptian history and pyramids, Caiiro draws inspiration from diverse cultures to create his music. His versatile approach has enabled him to reach a wide audience and penetrate various markets worldwide. Caiiro released his third album, “Pyramids,” in 2022, which has garnered tremendous success and solidified his position as a rising star in electronic music.

He has toured extensively, performing in over 30 countries across five continents. Notably, his track “The Akan” from the latest album has become a viral sensation and has been played on major electronic music stages worldwide. Additionally, his collaboration with Adam Port on the remix of “Your Voice” has become one of the biggest house music hits of the year. Caiiro’s remarkable achievements in 2022 led to him being recognized as one of the most influential producers by 1001 Tracklists.

Caiiro’s latest release (July 2024), his self-titled album ‘Caiiro,’ has garnered support from leading figures in the electronic music scene as well as listeners, amassing over 1 million streams on Spotify within its first month.

Meedy, Founder of DESCENDANTS has become the lead sonic curator for the DESCENDANTS Experience. Having shared the stage with the likes of Afro House legends such as Caiiro, Shimza, Citizen Deep & Boddhi Satva between New York & Amsterdam, he has created his mark as a premier Afro Electronic selector.

DESCENDANTS resident Pizzi has found a way to seamlessly blend Afro Electronic sounds from Tech, House, GQOM, Batida & more and brings joy and dance into each set. As a life-long music producer & creator, he is sure to bring something new and special with each set.
