Paranoid London were at the forefront of the vinyl resurgence that the music industry is witnessing now. With zero promo & no interviews or photos they built a fanatical, cult following that ensured their records sold out before they even hit the shops & were changing hands for £100 or more on Discogs.

The next step was live performance. With far reaching, broad tastes & an ethos focused on personality & giving it your all rather than bland, paint-by-numbers dance music they set about putting together one of the most exciting live acts in electronic music. Pulling in influences from gay Chicago House, Detroit Techno, New York Punk & New Wave they swiftly moved from playing the underground club scene to headlining stages at Glastonbury (Block9 & Sliver Hayes), Sonar, Dekmantel, Movement (Detroit), FYF (Los Angeles), Love Saves The Day, Warehouse Project & Pukkelpop. At the same time always remembering their underground roots by playing Opium (Vilnius), Panaorama Bar, Fabric, Breakfast Club, Trouw, & countless other clubs across the world.

Recently they started DJing again having both taken a break for more than 10 years. Very quickly they were asked to do an Essential Mix (Radio One), a Back2Back with B-Traits (Radio one) & a guest mix for The Blessed Madonna (Radio 6). Club gigs are given a unique twist by ensuring that everything they play has been re-edited & retooled into a Paranoid London flavored bomb. During the recent lockdown they began to release some of these edits & picked up support from a wide range of heavy hitters including Ben Sims, Ben Clock, Tiga, Solomun, Death In Vegas & Hot Chip ... an eclectic bunch to say the least!

Remixes have been very thin on the ground due to an attitude of quality over quantity ... it doesn’t matter how much money you have, if they’re not into you you’re not getting a remix. So far the lucky recipients have been The Chemical Brothers, Arthur Baker & Alan Vega, Liquid Liquid & Working Mens Club. Three legendary acts & the hottest newcomers on the block.

With a new live show developed during the lockdown (check the Fact Magazine & Movement Detroit streams) incorporating Warmduscher vocalist Mutado Pintado, queer frontrunner Josh Caffe & visuals by Bob Jaroc (Fat Boy Slim) they aren’t fucking around.
