Like any story, Mak&egrave;z&#39;s music carries multiple layers. Their recent projects reveal an approach that challenges listeners to listen beyond surface-level expectations. Inspired by artists who defy easy categorization -like Slum Village, Masters at Work, Moodymann and Theo Parrish- they create music that finds beauty in nuance. Each track becomes an invitation: a moment to explore, to feel, and connect.

The duo found each other in their early high school days, through a shared love for house music. They&rsquo;ve spent over 15 years translating their taste and vision into music that lives somewhere between underground club grooves and songs that resonate beyond the dance floor. Drawing from the rich textures of hip hop, jazz, and disco, they craft electronic music that feels both familiar and fresh&mdash;a bridge between nostalgic rhythms and contemporary production.

Their journey from teenage music enthusiasts to international artists, is a narrative of organic growth and musical intuition. After moving to Amsterdam, they immersed themselves in the city&#39;s nightlife, transforming their youthful musical curiosity into a professional pursuit that would reach dance floors across the globe. The two developed an almost telepathic connection&mdash;complementing each other&#39;s strengths both on stage and in the studio. Their differences aren&#39;t obstacles, but the very source of their creative language.

Depending on whom you ask, Matthew Dear is a DJ, a dance-music producer, an experimental pop artist, and a bandleader. He was the founding artist on both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound. He&rsquo;s had remixes commissioned by The XX, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Spoon, Hot Chip, The Postal Service, and Chemical Brothers; he&rsquo;s made mixes for the Fabric mix series and Get Physical&rsquo;s Body Language. He maintains four aliases (Audion, False, Jabberjaw, and Matthew Dear), each with its own style and distinct visual identity. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none&mdash;and he&rsquo;s just hitting his stride.

Juan MacLean is a Brooklyn based DJ and producer who has been a mainstay and defining fixture of the New York cub scene, as well as maintaining a rigorous international touring schedule, since the release of his first records on his DFA record label in 2002. While maintaining residencies in various New York clubs over the years, Juan has graced the decks at legendary venues like Berlin&rsquo;s Panorama Bar, Tokyo&rsquo;s Womb, Lisbon&rsquo;s Luxe, Fabric of London, and countless others in between. He quickly established a reputation as an eclectic and adaptive DJ, utilizing years of music making and performance experience to develop a finely tuned sensitivity to quality selection and reading a room. Never much of a genre purist, Juan&rsquo;s sets can feature the gamut from Disco to House to Techno, with detours into Electro or proto-House along the way, often in the same night. Juan has also released on Classic Music Company and New York City&rsquo;s Let&rsquo;s Play House, as well as Get Physical, Defected, and Razor N Tape, Cin Cin, Audiophile Deep, and MeMeMe.

American born, Palestinian Dj Maher Daniel is no stranger to the international dance circuit. Starting his early humbling years as a resident at the infamous Stereo Montreal, his growth rapidly took off with a slew of heavy releases which set him up as a well respected artist in the industry.

After moving to Barcelona, Maher was able to continue his growth, with the launch of his record label The Other Side, allowing him to &nbsp;build his repertoire even more. &nbsp;The output created allowed him to work with some of the most prolific artist in the minimal house circuit, eventually leading him to work with the likes of (a:rpia:r) sound system Ricardo Villalobos to name a few.&nbsp;

With an ever growing catalog of music and label showcases hosted world wide, Maher continues to push his career to higher grounds.

&nbsp;

Always sitting slightly off-center, Jay Tripwire is an artist that walks the line as an industry staple and ever changing innovator, releasing one standout release after another.

His signature fusion of deep Detroit textures and intricate rhythms has led a career spanning two decades, with over 200 vinyl releases, 2 commercial mixed cd compilations, and four full length albums. He remains one of the most prolific artists around, with an average of 15 releases per year.

Jay has made appearances in over 200 cities worldwide, and some of his most memorable gigs have been a decade of bookings at Fabric London- a venue that has changed his approach to Djing, and production sound. Jay&rsquo;s work has been featured on numerous compilations, notably from Cocoon, Fabric, Renaissance, Journeys by DJ, Ultra &amp; Bedrock, and is supported by a diverse spectrum of dance culture from house luminaries such as, Doc Martin and Kerri Chandler to techno legends Steve Bug and Laurent Garnier and John Digweed. Satoshi Tomiie has been a pioneering and driving force within the global electronic music community since the early days of house music. Now, decades after his &lsquo;Tears&rsquo; alongside Frankie Knuckles, the Japanese born, New York and based DJ, producer, remixer and label boss is still a regular feature in the sets of many of today&rsquo;s underground elite.

A student of jazz and classical piano, Satoshi is a musically adept and accomplished producer who constantly evolved how he works. Experimenting with a new hybrid Modular DJ setup which sees him effortlessly fuse live analogue modular synthesis and with traditional DJ sets. Regularly playing clubs such as DC10, Rex and from South America to Tokyo while releasing music on labels such as YoY, Yoyakuza, Kaoz Theory, No19, MFR, Holic, and his own Abstract Architecture. Satoshi is as relevant as ever and continues to make waves throughout the electronic music community as only he knows how.

Emerging from Philadelphia&rsquo;s 1980s warehouse scene, he began as an underage mobile DJ before shaping the city&rsquo;s underground sound and helping define the global house and techno movement. u.r.trax is a Paris-born producer and DJ. Her work blurs the line between club culture and sound design, exploring the tension between chaos, fun, and beauty.&nbsp;

She approaches DJing as an improvised dialogue between sound, space, and bodies. Her sets are unpredictable journeys where fun coexists with the spiritual and the visceral. She curates with curiosity and instinct, weaving tracks that embody the sound of the future &mdash; whether they were released yesterday or decades ago. Constantly shifting between genres and energies, she seeks to surprise, nourish, and entertain in equal measure. For u.r.trax, each performance is a moment of discovery, both for herself and for the audience &mdash; an evolving ritual of collective energy and sound exploration.

&nbsp;As a producer, u.r.trax first drew attention in 2022 with her releases on Nina Kraviz&rsquo;s trip &mdash; an aesthetic statement blending ethereal textures, dense basslines, and high intensity rhythms. These works defined her sound of that time: emotional, trance-infused techno charged with tension and beauty. From 2023 onward, she shifted her focus toward composition for image, notably for Coperni, among other creative projects. This exploration opened new horizons &mdash; deepening her relationship with sound design, atmosphere, and narrative. Immersed in new scenes and sensibilities, she began to deconstruct her own musical language, patiently shaping a new direction away from traditional club formats. After years of silent crafting, she will unveil this next chapter with her first live show at Primavera Sound 2026.

Known for his mastery of live performance, Jonson transforms drum machines and synthesizers into immersive, one-of-a-kind journeys, bridging underground club culture with the sophistication of orchestral collaborations and concert hall performances. As Matthew E, he delivers peak-time club weapons rooted in an updated, jackin&rsquo; Chicago house aesthetic, infused with funk and mechanical edge. Rekid, on the other hand, slows the tempo to a thicker, moodier strain of groove, offering a more deliberate and soulful mid-week energy. His work with Joel Martin as Quiet Village wanders into sample-based, cinematic terrain, drifting between extended disco abstractions and atmospheric soundscapes.
