Flower Factory is a D.C.-based queer DJ collective that strives to cultivate queer community, encourage self-expression, and showcase high-quality music talent. For more than two years, Flower Factory has brought to D.C. diverse crowds and lineups of DJs and performers, including iconic talent like Papi Juice, Octo Octa, Vicki Powell, Leonce, ketia, Juana, Charlene Incarnate, and Macy Rodman.

Flower Factory throws a monthly Sunday daytime event — drawing on the history of gay tea dances that sprouted in the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s as a means of cultivating community while being politically and socially targeted. Our party series also includes our nighttime “Night Shade” events and our up-and-coming-DJ showcases, “Green House.” Flower Factory is not just a dance party, but a community gathering space. Previous events have included art markets with local artists and artisans, queer performances with dance, drag, and pole performers, and other offerings including tarot card readings. Join us Thursday evening for an exclusive Flower Factory takeover on the club level and rooftop!
