Now established in Oakland, California's effervescent underground rave community, Daria Lourd (aka Bored Lord) was born and raised in Memphis, where she nurtured an ear for house music, pop, techno and bassier sounds that would later inform her productions and DJ sets. Her most prominent recent release "The Last Illusion" emerged last year on Eris Drew and Octo Octa's T4T LUV NRG label, and chopped Gwen Stefani samples over dusted '90s hardcore breaks, crossing sultry disco with psychedelic acid house - energy she channels into her wavy, genre-agnostic DJ sets.
